How Zefir works

The implementation of energy transformation using Zefir tools includes five sets of activities

Inventory

Data forming the basis for analysis. A database of buildings is created, to which parameters are assigned – size, energy consumption, category. Information is obtained on the basis of “physical inventory,” records, local sources, and registers.

Analysis and recommendation

Once the accuracy of the data has been verified, a statistical analysis is performed. The resulting database of buildings and emission sources is compared with others to precisely determine the energy consumption of individual buildings. Accuracy is confirmed by consumption measurement devices installed in randomly selected buildings. Once the direction of optimization has been determined in accordance with the area management strategy, analyses and recommendations are prepared for decision-making bodies.

Priorities i plan

The analyses form the basis for developing a transformation plan. Zefir enables users to obtain a list and classification of emitters (based on building type, fuel type, renovation needs, etc.) and a list of necessary investments. The tools provide analyses of various scenarios, indicate areas for investment, and show the total costs broken down by investor.

On this basis, workshops are organized for decision-makers, during which short-, medium-, and long-term strategic goals are set. The planning process is continuous—analyses can be supplemented and updated during implementation.

Monitoring

The prepared databases can be used to monitor ongoing activities, and their progress can be visualized on maps. The entire system can be customized to the individual needs of the customer. This provides real-time insight into the progress of work.

Communication

Zefir enables the creation of reports and visualizations that serve as a means of communication with stakeholders. These tools support the preparation of transparent information that can be communicated to councilors and citizens, the media, or used on websites.
